Co-Founder at SIMPLi 🌱 Ethical food sourcing for a better world 🌱 Inc.'s Female Founders 250 list 🌱 Wharton MBA candidate

Since moving with Matthew Cohen to Philadelphia to pursue my EMBA at The Wharton School, we’ve fallen in love with the city and its vibrant start-up culture. I caught up with the Philadelphia Business Journal to talk about the warm welcome we’ve received from this innovative city and what we’ve been up to at SIMPLi. It turned out to be a beautiful opportunity to reflect on all we’ve accomplished in the past year: 📈In 2023 alone, SIMPLi's retail footprint grew by 144% 🏪We can now be found in more than 4,400 stores and restaurants nationwide 🧑🌾We’ve expanded our farmer network and entered new international markets - today, we work with more than 2,500 farmers in Peru, Paraguay, Brazil, Argentina, Greece and Ukraine. On top of all this business growth, our family has grown too, as Matt and I welcomed our second baby, Leo, in April! It’s been an incredible honor to grow my business and my family, and it feels like we’re just getting started. Matt and I are so excited to continue growing in our new city and expand the regenerative organic movement we’ve so proudly invested in. Thanks for helping to share my story, Ryan Mulligan!
