Recently, the Copenhagen Malmö Port (CMP) said it aims to #reduce #carbondioxide emissions at its container terminal with increased use of hydrogenated #vegetableoil (HVO100) and #batteries. Among other European #ports, the Port of Hamburg has claimed to have converted its #automated guided #vehicle (AGV) fleet at the #container terminal Altenwerder to #battery operation. This fleet comprises 95 battery-powered #vehicles that run on "green electricity". My love and high interest in IC Engines has always been a level apart. Ammonia-based IC engines stand out as an innovative option because they utilise the importance of sustainability in the production of electricity. By using these engines, we open the door to a greener energy future while simultaneously lowering carbon footprints. A green and versatile fuel like ammonia is the future for the generation of power in a way that is sustainable. It becomes a cleaner power catalyst when integrated into IC engines, supporting interest in a more sustainable and ethical energy future. However, its lubrication system would be something interesting to know 💡🧠
