From October 26, 2024, employers will have a new responsibility to actively prevent sexual harassment in the workplace. The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is updating its 2020 guidance https://buff.ly/3yhGE3w on the Equality Act 2010 to include these new requirements. 📌 Prepare for the New Law: Many employers already have measures in place to prevent workplace harassment. However, beginning in October, all employers must demonstrate that they are taking reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment.
