SAE Industry Technologies Consortia is excited to announce the launch of the SAE ITC Heavy Duty Charging Consortium (HDCC), a global collaboration of heavy truck industry leaders committed to accelerate electrified commercial vehicle adoption & deployment through development of a seamless unified charging experience across all OEMs/EVSEs. Why is this consortium needed? In today's rapidly evolving transportation landscape, the electrification of commercial vehicles stands as a crucial step towards a sustainable future. However, the fragmented nature of charging infrastructure and varying protocols across manufacturers pose significant barriers to widespread adoption. This is where the HDCC plays a pivotal role. By bringing together industry leaders, OEMs, and EVSE providers, we are committed to developing a unified, seamless charging experience that transcends brand boundaries. Our collaborative efforts aim to accelerate the adoption and deployment of electrified commercial vehicles by eliminating compatibility issues, streamlining operations, and enhancing user experience. Through standardization and interoperability, we're not just charging vehicles; we're powering the future of sustainable transportation, making electric fleets a practical and efficient reality for businesses of all sizes. Join us in driving this electric revolution and shaping a cleaner, greener future for commercial transportation. Join us. To learn more, come talk to us at #COMVEC24 - come find HDCC chair Navtej Singh, SAE ITC Global Land Systems lead Tim Yerdon, SAE ITC biz dev lead Mark Pickett, or HDCC program lead Lisa Spellman and get your company at the table to help lead this important industry initiative. #CommercialVehicle #Electrify #Standards #Interoperability #SAEITC #HDCC

If you have visited SIAT24 or you were following AVL on various posts you might have seen that AVL was the BIG part of the conference. There were two reasons for this: First was the technologies, software and hardware displayed. Second were the technical papers presented by us. Transmission team presented/published two Technical Papers: 1. eAxle Generic DVP for Indian markets complying with Indian and International standards. 2. High speed driveline powerloss and influencing factors. Because, It's not about the test you perform, It's about how you perform the test. AVL Transmission, Helping customers to develop Transmissions which are Efficient, Durable & Cost Effective. Looking forward for exciting time ahead ! #avl #SIAT24 #innovation #technologyleaders #transmission #highspeed #automotiveindustry #electricalvehicles

Next Generation Network Technology for Avionics Communication (NTAC) Subcommittee Meeting Apr. 9-11, 2024 | Vienna, Austria Register Online! Link: https://lnkd.in/eV8ED45g The standardization of an Ethernet compatible fieldbus is necessary to complement existing ARINC 664 standards. Additionally, the standardization is necessary to reduce the amount of different technologies used for communication, simplify onboard communication interfaces, and remove costly gateway functions. This standardization effort will investigate available solutions in aerospace or other industries and select one or several solutions which provide the required compatibility and support for network services while being suitable in cost and complexity with the fieldbus usage domain. #avionics #standards #nextgen
