I've found the manufacturing department the biggest opportunity to improve cash flow. There are too many reasons to list them here, but here are some key ideas of how manufacturing impacts cash flow: • Inventory levels (raw materials, WIP, finished goods)    • Waste    • Productivity    • Order fulfillment and shipping The second most important is sales/marketing.
