What happens when a handmade sign appears outside a wide-format company.... Work began outside our office space and we couldn't sit idly by and spruce up their sign a bit! I was asked a very perceptive question the other day in Kingston Jamaica - Can a placebrand strategy by itself really make a town or a city a better place? My reply was yes if it can if it is an integral element in the actual physical, human and intelligent development of the place. The Bloom approach can be summed up in one term -“Placemaking.I’d” - the process of creating the brand - the identity - of the place from its core elements - human ware, software and hardware, rather than from marketing and logo design.
