🔻Why do Monstera leaves have holes? 🔻 Ever struggled to bring a bit of wild elegance into your space? Monstera leaves might be just what you need. Known as the "Swiss cheese plant" because of the iconic holes that develop in its leaves, Monstera has a history of capturing imaginations. These holes aren't just for show— light passes through and help the plant withstand heavy rains and strong winds in its native tropical habitat by allowing the elements to pass through. But beyond their natural habitat, Monstera leaves have become a favorite in modern decor and floral arrangements. Their bold, glossy appearance adds a touch of the jungle to any setting. So, if you're looking to elevate your ikebana with a statement piece, consider the Monstera leaf. It's a way to blend nature's resilience with refined beauty, all in one striking leaf. Can you spot the Monstera leaf? Look for the one with the signature holes—nature's own design for resilience. #monstera #ikebana #natureinspired #生花

I created this soft and comforting scheme for a snug room recently. The botanical pattern on the wallpaper and the natural materials used have a lovely soothing effect on the space. I know sometimes people are wary of using pink in their homes but I find that adding a touch of black, in this case the floor lamp, can completely change the overall feel and make the space feel elevated. What about you - would you use pink in your home? #interiordesigner #cotswoldinteriors #colourpsychology #periodproperties #interiors123 #colourscheme #interiordesigneruk #historichome #renovationproject #listedbuildings #listedbuilding #listedbuildingrenovation #propertyrenovation #homerenovations #Interiordesignlife #renovation #homeiswheretheheartis #countryhome #3dvisualisation #sustainabledesign #ecohomedesign #renovationdesign #Interiordesignproject #sketchup #interiordesign #pinkhomesofinsta #colourscheme #wallpaper #interiordesignproject #livingroomdesign

Maintaining the exquisite beauty of a Japanese garden is a labor of love, demanding meticulous care and expertise. Take for instance the iconic stroll garden at Heian Shrine in Kyoto. Imagine the precision required to prune the pines on those tiny islands! As a Japanese garden designer working on the East Coast, I've come to appreciate the unique challenges of maintaining these gardens in a different climate. Understanding the limitations of local landscapers is crucial in creating designs that are both aesthetically pleasing and practical. It's a delicate balance between artistry and practicality. How can we preserve the essence of Japanese gardens while considering the realities of maintenance? #JapaneseGarden #GardenMaintenance #LandscapeArchitecture #DesignChallenges #CulturalExchange #japanesegardendesign #kyoto

They make your home look vibrant and offer many benefits for your mind and body. Plants with lots of anthocyanins show off bright red and purple colors. These colors come from berries and fruits that are good for your health. The anthocyanins in leaves protect them from too much sunlight. So, red plants can handle more light than green ones. =============== 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 👉 [email protected] 👉https://lnkd.in/dWFNKAhu =============== #RedFoliage #Houseplants #IndoorPlants #PlantDecor #HomeInterior #VibrantHome #PlantLovers #GreenLiving #HomeDecor #IndoorGarden #PlantParenthood #BeautifulPlants #HouseplantCommunity #ColorfulPlants #PlantCare
