In this segment, Nkem Oghedo is talking about the Adá marketplace platform specifically. One thing I love about what she's sharing here is: Adá shifts power to its vendors by enabling them to set their own prices. If you're looking for Black History Month team-building programming for your team that puts the money and the power in the hands of Black entrepreneurs, check out Adá! ✨ In the comments of this post, tag a Black owned business. We will be choosing 4 to highlight over the next month, and every business tagged will be shared across our social media platforms. ✨ This Black History Month, we knew that we wanted to highlight Black owned businesses. We know the power of representation. By showcasing thriving Black entrepreneurs, we remain committed to inspiring, motivating, and challenging societal stereotypes and biases. Especially when the national narrative oversimplifies the rich tapestry of Black experiences in America. Research proves the unequal distribution of venture capital and bank loans, putting Black entrepreneurs at a disadvantage in starting or expanding their ventures. Empower your community by actively choosing Black-owned businesses. Your support can break barriers to success and foster a more equitable economy.
