"Infectious diseases don't follow office hours, nor do they send an invite before rudely disrupting our lives." This quote, alongside many others from infection prevention experts, underscores the urgency of prioritizing Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) practices. The less attention we give to #IPC today, the more we will pay tomorrow, both in terms of resources and lives. As we gear towards #InfectionFreeNaija, be a part of the change we want to see by committing not only to proper hygiene practices but also by encouraging safe healthcare practices in your communities. #InfectionPreventionWeek

Today, we are reflecting on one of our impact projects where we had the privilege of visiting two orphanages to educate children on the importance of proper handwashing. Our team led an interactive session where the children learned the steps, and timing for effective handwashing. As a team, we are always excited to expand our impact. By promoting these healthy habits, we are helping to build a healthier, more informed future. Every lesson and every tiny pair of hands were reminders of the difference we can make together. #HygieneEducation #Handhygiene

Achieving patient safety is not the responsibility of one group alone, it requires a unified collaboration between healthcare workers, policymakers, and all stakeholders in the health system. By working together to create robust policies, implement effective safety practices, and foster a culture of care, we can ensure that both patients and healthcare workers experience a safer, higher-quality, and more resilient healthcare system. #PatientSafety
