70% of digital transformations fail. I love Henriette Lonkvist's perspective at NEXT Pharma Summit . The two things that particularly resonated with me were: 1. a lot of effort can be spent on change management and bringing people with us, and 2. we should work with partners to bring valuable skills into the team to allow us to move at pace. So often companies think they need to drive HCPs "somewhere" to engage digitally. I think this can lead to slow, inauthentic engagement. It can even be futile. To really drive digital transformation in this space we need to meet HCP colleagues *where they are at,* work with skilled partners to grow a healthy ecosystem and add value so that engagement is authentic and value-add. Partner. Meet people where they are at. Add value.

Great post Dr Phil McElnay - thank you for sharing this. Experience has shown that involving stakeholders (especially those who'll be users of the technology) from the onset drastically increases success rates. Happy to share our process if useful - honed over 20 years.
