In our work lives we tend to adopt something like an evidence-based practice approach but it can be difficult because it requires more effort and more time than just doing the doing. It's also difficult because we may not like the answers, we find it can challenge our own biases about what that decision will now mean and what might be effective interventions that we are uncomfortable to try. But, it is worth doing as it helps us identify the most important problems and opportunities.
