Over the past week, relentless rainfall has unleashed catastrophic flooding, leaving communities submerged, homes destroyed, and lives shattered. The scale of this disaster is immense, and the need for assistance is urgent. Countless families are now homeless, forced to flee to higher ground with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Schools, hospitals, and vital infrastructure have been washed away, leaving communities isolated and in desperate need of support. The images emerging from the affected areas are heart-wrenching, showcasing the extent of the devastation and the immense challenges ahead. In the face of such adversity, we must come together as a global community to offer our support and solidarity to those affected by this tragedy. Every contribution, no matter how small, can make a difference in the lives of those who have lost everything. There are several ways you can help: Donate: Your financial support can provide immediate relief to those in need, including shelter, food, clean water, and medical supplies. Organizations such as the Red Cross and local relief agencies are on the ground, working tirelessly to assist affected communities. Volunteer: If you are able, consider volunteering your time and skills to help with rescue and relief efforts. Your assistance can make a direct impact in providing aid to those who need it most. Something to think about

Can you believe it’s already been a year since the tragic fires in Lahaina, Hawaii? It’s difficult to grasp how one of the worst fires in American history unfolded right here. Despite the government’s awareness of the situation, no warnings were issued to the public, not even through the Emergency Alert System (EAS). This lack of timely communication left many residents unprepared and at risk. At TMG, we were aware of the fire's severity and were ready to take action by setting up our own emergency alerts to help facilitate evacuations notices, and keep the public safe. However, due to strict regulations, we were unable to implement these alerts. The inadequate government response during this critical time was deeply concerning. In response to the crisis, TMG stepped in to support the affected communities. We contributed over $2,000 to relief funds and various nonprofit organizations dedicated to aiding those impacted in Hawaii and Maui. Our goal was to provide some assistance and show solidarity with those who were suffering. The government’s response remains troubling. This year, for instance, displaced families did not receive transportation for their children to attend school, despite education being a legal requirement. This oversight has left many students without a crucial support system. The housing situation is still bad, its basically still non-existent. We will continue to support Lahaina as much as possible until 2027, through donations, and gifts, etc.
