yesterday's master class was quite insightful. we had our first session with Mr. Joel Makinde, where he took us through a journey about Project management in community development; the challenges and opportunities. Project management is a complex but critical discipline that involves overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of projects. It's a way of bringing order and structure to otherwise complex and dynamic tasks, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget. Project management also involves managing the team of people working on the project, ensuring that everyone has the resources and information they need to do their jobs effectively. Project management can be used in any type of project, from building a house to developing a new product or service. The key principles of project management are planning, communication, delegation, and monitoring. There are a lot of challenges that a projects manager may encounter, some of this challenges are limited resources, stakeholders conflict and sustainability. This challenges however has to be overcome in order to have a successful project. This challenges may ba overcome through; effective communication, stakeholders engagement and adaptive management. The second session delve into climate action and environmental sustainability. This session was handled by Mrs. Ruth Oluwashele. climate action simply means climate mitigation and climate adaptation. Environmental sustainability is all about living and working in a way that protects the environment and preserves natural resources for future generation. Climate action and environmental sustainability is everyone's business. We can come up with brilliant solutions to the climate and environmental problems affecting our society through a simple design thinking process. #SDGs #Growth #development #sustainability
