Here’s how you transform a community in ten years. Students become the teachers. Students help facilitate the discussions. Students create the solutions to the problems in the community. Reasons why it’s important for students to use community development as their primary education sources: 1. Students have ownership in what they help build now. 2. Your network of friends multiplies. 3. Students may attend local colleges or return post graduation to continue building what they started while in school. 4. Non profits, schools, and government programs benefit from the extra help. 5. Students meet business leaders who may become future employers.

In the background, Adeel Imtiaz sir highlights the importance of the Revised Bloom's Taxonomy graph, which illustrates how learning occurs in our brain. His YouTube channel is renowned for empowering the education system with science-based techniques. I previously mentioned this graph briefly, but it’s worth delving deeper into its significance. The Revised Bloom's Taxonomy emphasizes a hierarchy of cognitive skills that are essential for effective learning and critical thinking. This model moves beyond mere memorization, encouraging learners to engage in higher-order thinking skills such as analyzing, evaluating, and creating. By comparing and contrasting information, our brains are better able to retain and comprehend complex concepts. Unfortunately, Pakistan's education system predominantly focuses on the first three levels of thinking—remembering, understanding, and applying. While these foundational skills are important, there is a crucial need to also nurture higher-order thinking skills to truly enhance students' intellectual growth and critical thinking abilities. Integrating the principles of the Revised Bloom's Taxonomy can transform our approach to education. By fostering an environment where students are encouraged to analyze, evaluate, and create, we can significantly improve their retention and deepen their understanding of the subject matter. This shift not only equips students with the ability to think critically but also prepares them for the complexities of real-world problem-solving.

🌟 Proud Moment Alhamdolillah 🌟 Yesterday, I had the honor of presenting our school's uplift program to the community. As a former student, I feel incredibly lucky to be involved in giving back to the institution that shaped me. It's a full-circle moment to contribute to the betterment of my own school, ensuring it continues to thrive and inspire future generations.

The FEC is not just about providing financial education and job training. It’s about: - Empowering families - Strengthening communities - Promoting economic stability - Building pathways to success -Youth financial empowerment -Educational support -Violence prevention -Career Guidance -Scholarship assistance -Mentorship access -Confidence building When I founded FEC, it was about sharing the resources and knowledge I had acquired. It’s also been a journey of transformation into a more disciplined organization and cultivating good habits that lead to financial stability. The Florida Economic Consortium (FEC) has been instrumental in providing beneficiaries with essential tools. It has been fostering independence and boosting confidence to achieve greater aspirations. For me, this is what the Florida Economic Consortium is. Not just a series of workshops. Not just educational opportunities. Not just financial advice. Not just community outreach. But it has a real impact on the lives of Floridians. When people start recognizing you for your part in their success, this is the true essence of the FEC. What has been your experience with community support organizations? Share your stories below. Rod Love, President of Florida Economic Consortium
