🌟 Just returned from an enriching experience at the Entheos Audiology Annual Meeting of the Members! 🌟 Reflecting on the insightful sessions and engaging discussions, I'm excited to share my key takeaways: 😀 Happy People Create Happy Work: The importance of fostering a positive work environment resonated deeply. Cultivating happiness among team members not only boosts morale but also enhances productivity and creativity. 🤔 Understanding the "Why" Behind the "No": By grasping the underlying motives behind a rejection, we can pave the way for finding the right solutions and achieving the desired outcomes. 🗣 Addressing Team Dynamics: The health of a team relies on addressing problems promptly rather than allowing them to fester, as unresolved issues can deteriorate team cohesion. 🤸♀️ Supporting Colleagues' Success: Instead of attributing difficulties solely to motivation, considering additional training or resources can foster success and collaboration within teams. ❤️ Creating a Safe Environment for Discussion: Without a sense of security, meaningful dialogue becomes difficult. It reinforced the importance of fostering an environment where every team member feels valued and heard. Our best work is contextual to the ups and downs of life. The top row is Hattie at her best. These are her strengths, energy givers and ingredients of the dream work day. The bottom row is also Hattie. The bottom row doesn't change the top. BUT, how we need to show up to enable the top row is different. WorkPossible* is exploring our dream days at work and, how we're enabled to do our best work. There's a really, important nuance that we need to talk about... our best work is human. Our best work isn't just enabled (or hindered) by our work environment, it's contextual to our lives. And that context doesn't have to be an extreme - or unhappy - example like cancer. Our best work will look different through all our big and small moments. Our needs will be different. As organisations, we need to flex our employee experience to meet those needs. Incredibly excited to become a Director of optashift and for the opportunity to partner with the shift work legend that is Robert Crossman! Over the past decade I’ve developed a passion for shift work optimisation due to the transformative impact it has on productivity, efficiency, resilience and shift worker health. It means a great deal to be part of a purpose-led business that has the insight and tools to help tackle some of the biggest challenges facing our economy and society. Communications and engagement are at the heart of optashift’s proven approach, spanning everything from sentiment analysis and health/wellbeing support…through to Trade Union relations and solution co-design. It’s deeply rewarding to facilitate stakeholder collaboration in this highly complex and sensitive area of change management, especially when it helps renew or strengthen cultural bonds in an organisation. #weekap Thanks to #hybrid work that is offered by Swiss Life Deutschland also by having several offices all over #germany, our team members can work from anywhere they want nationalwide. Still, this week the whole #team went to #Hamburg to visit our colleagues that are located there and are having a lovely view on the Osterbekkanal. The timing wasn't coincidential, we decided to use the day to do a full sprint change onsite and fill the remaining time slots for having a #lunch together and having live exchanges with each other. This didn't just happen unstructured, but rather with including an #agilesimulation, a little kick-off work session and as part of the sprint change, obviousely a #retrospective. I chose a very sensitive format that required a certain level of #trust within the team and the work over the recent weeks and months gave me the confidence that we are mature enough, so I thought the #timing was right to foster a sensitive and #open exchange. And the team proved me right, as they were very open to fill the format with valuable content, respectful #feedback and constructive discussions. This #transparency gave us the direct opportunity to identify spots where we need to #inspect and #adapt and for me felt more efficient than the recent #remote sessions, convincing me: Even with a great digital setting, the #energy of a in-person-meeting is unlikely to beat. Shoutout to my #team for an already great time we had and even greater times we will have in the future 😊
