In 13 countries identified by UNICEF, countless families are facing unimaginable hardships. Their lives has been torn apart due to multiple crises — conflict, displacement, drought, famine, disease, and tragically high rates of mortality. It's particularly distressing to think of the children and women, the most vulnerable among us, who are disproportionately affected. A lack of adequate water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) infrastructure poses severe health risks, especially to women and children.
