𝗗𝗼𝗲𝘀 (𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲) 𝗦𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿? 🤨 This week I had the pleasure of pitching at Connected Health Brandenburg and presenting our vision for healthcare. With IQONIC.AI, we are now on the road in international markets and on huge stages. So why do we still pitch at such events?  ➡️ The answer is quite simple: yes, reach is important to us. But not just for the sake of reach itself – rather because it allows us to create awareness for our topic. Just as important are… 🎯 Smaller venues with a focused expert audience asking the right questions – we can only evolve through open feedback and new ideas. ✅ Reality checks in the regions where our solution is really needed - large parts of Brandenburg are rural and have to cope with a shortage of (specialist) doctors. The feedback from here helps us a lot. 📈 Small stages can only become big stages if there are people to help build them – we believe that the digital health ecosystem in Berlin and Brandenburg is really fantastic. That's why it's really valuable to work together and inspire each other. 🙌🏼 The size of the stage does not define the quality of what's said. 🙌🏼 That's why we were very grateful for the invitation to the Startup Arena at #CHB24. Yesterday was a stimulating day dedicated to orchestrating the expansion of the HITLAB Breakthrough Alliance Europe, aimed at propelling the growth of European digital health startups in the US and vice versa. Commencing with the outline of our ambitious 2024 strategy and transitioning into enriching dialogues with field experts from both sides of the Atlantic, the boundless prospects within the digital health domain became apparent. It was delightful to champion HITLAB's breakthrough alliance expansion in Europe, seizing a distinct opportunity to engage with pivotal collaborators and trailblazers from the US and European healthcare sectors. Over the past several months, Naomi Goez and I did a deep dive into opportunities for innovation within health systems. Throughout that time, we had conversations with innovation executives across four of the top healthcare systems in the U.S. including Mayo Clinic Ventures, Hackensack Meridian Health, Cone Health Ventures, and University Hospitals Ventures to understand current strategies and priorities in order to hone in on our investment thesis. Our goal was to arm health tech founders with the inside perspective on the critical investment areas for US hospitals to help navigate towards product-market fit and solve the industry's most pressing challenges. Health tech is a core thesis area for us at Forum Ventures, as we think technology will play a major factor in improving patient outcomes, providing more accessible care and driving better financial results for health systems. We've already made quite a few health tech investments over the last 10 years and plan to make many more over the coming years.
