We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual with experience in education to join our client's team and help guide their soon-to-be 4th and 8th graders in their academic journeys. This role involves providing daily after-school homework help, executive function coaching, and generally serving as the Chief of Staff for all things education, ensuring the academic success and development of the children. The position requires in-person availability in the Pacific Palisades area. • Location: Pacific Palisades, CA • Full-time • No travel! • Schedule: Weekdays in-person from 2:00 PM - 6:30 PM; planning and admin work can be done remotely—occasional weekend test prep sessions. • Local candidates will be given first consideration. • On-site housing is available! [rare serious post!] I don't mention it much here, but along with being a shitposter and product manager, I'm also a dad. And thanks to Republican politicians, my oldest daughter is no longer able to get affirming healthcare in this state. So we're planning to relocate and move to somewhere that passes laws to protect kids rather than harm them. My partner (Alyssa) is looking for part-time or contract work to help us get some extra funds for this unplanned move. I know that remote positions are wildly in demand right now, so I'm sending out this little post to see if i can turn shitposting into money (via a referral). If you know of someone who is hiring remotely for an Admin Assistant/Data Entry/Project Planning/Grant Writing/similar type roles, part time or full-time, please reach out to me with info! Alyssa also welds, is an excellent barista, can mix tea, and cook, but those are much harder to do remotely so we're scoping the jobs to more feasible goals. Trying to be practical here.
