I was the queen of normal. Not anymore. It was overrated. 😂🤣 This was a comment I left on a recent post by Luke Matthews It's the truth. I was the queen of normal. I'm the oldest in my family. I'm responsible, hardworking, always trying to be liked, and basically fit in. Not anymore. It was overrated. And I got lost in a sea of sameness. If I'm honest, I was hiding. Now, I work hard to push those old patterns to the backseat in my brain and share more of who I am. Why? Because... I want to lead by example. I tell my clients and audience we have to stand out. I have to practice what I preach. I know how noisy the world is, and the best way to be seen, heard, and understood is to tell your story. Be vulnerable. It makes you relatable. No better day than today to post about *Rebel Queen*. I started reading this book driven by my interest in learning more about courageous and resilient women. Through its pages, I not only discovered the bravery of Rani Laxmibai but also her deep love and kindness for her people, even while holding a position of power. The book sheds light on her unwavering grit and resilience, her patience, and her trust in her people, despite the personal tragedies she endured, including the loss of her biological son and husband. Her dedication to justice and her fight for Jhansi never wavered. *Rebel Queen* is narrated through the eyes of one of Rani's ten women soldiers, chosen for their knowledge, intelligence, and weapon skills. This story is particularly seen from the perspective of Sita Bhosale, from Barwa Sagar, a villager who aspired to be a Durgavasi to save enough money to arrange a good marriage for her sister. The book is extraordinary and deeply emotional towards the end, offering many life lessons: 1. When a storm comes, bamboo bends. It doesn’t break—be a bamboo! 2. We can help pave the roads for those around us, but we can't choose their direction. 3. Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself. 4.
