Very happy to celebrate Charlotte Degot and CO2 AI, an end-to-end sustainability software solution incubated by Boston Consulting Group (BCG), will now continue its growth journey 🚀 as an independent company. At BCG, we are always thrilled to see great ideas fly! CO2 AI has blossomed from a deep-seated passion for data and an unwavering commitment to helping businesses significantly reduce carbon emissions. It has already boasted an impressive track record, managing over 300 million tons of CO2 emissions. We must deploy all available technologies, including artificial intelligence and software solutions, to address climate change. As the United Nations emphasises, we are not good at combining economic growth, reducing carbon emissions, or protecting biodiversity. The single time of meaningful progress was during COVID lockdowns when a 6% decline in global reductions was achieved. Recent economic growth has outpaced increases in CO2 emissions, but we are still falling well short of the 43% emissions reduction called for by the IPCC to be on the 1.5°C pathway. Congratulations to Charlotte Degot, great Team of CO2 AI, and all supporters who made this journey possible: Rich Lesser | Jim Whitehurst | John Vrionis | Florian Jourda To learn more about CO2 AI or request a demo, go to https://co2ai.com/ #BCGinLAB #CO2AI #NetZero #Sustainability
