It may be hotter than a firecracker across the Midwest right now, but we're heating things up in our shop...heat sealing foil bags.🧨🧨🧨 I throw out the term "ancillary equipment" a lot when I talk about doing full integration. This is an example of what I'm talking about. On this project, a Universal Robots cobot is presenting a loaded foil pouch for heat sealing. The sealed pouches are then case packed by another #universalrobots cobot into a carton made by our #ur powered #boxEZ #robotic #boxerector.🦾 The filled carton then passes through a BestPack Packaging Systems top taper and back to the same robot powering the #boxEZ because it's doing double duty. It's not only making boxes, it's palletizing the sealed cartons.📦📦 The heat sealer may not be the star of the show, but the system wouldn't work without it, so integrating ancillary equipment is pretty important.
