I wonder how much technology was used to make this joint arrest. Either way, I am glad Texas Department of Public Safety and U.S. Customs and Border Protection were able to team up and put these guys behind bars! DevelopMe10X is working on current technology to be able to provide ways to assist with upgrading law enforcement technology. #lawenforcement #governmentcontracting #developme10x #tech #technologyinnovation
Check out this video from the Texas Department of Public Safety - South Texas Region highlighting a joint anti-smuggling operation, where DPS and U.S. Border Patrol apprehended several individuals after they illegally crossed the Rio Grande, including one who was wanted for murder in Mexico. #OperationLoneStar #bordersecurity

🎖️ Today, we commemorate a significant moment of valor in the history of the U.S. Border Patrol. On this day, Agents Jorge Arballo and Forrest J. Mauldin exhibited extraordinary bravery and selflessness, earning them the prestigious Newton-Azrak Award. In 1994, amidst a dangerous operation involving the interception of narcotics smugglers near the All American Canal, these agents encountered a life-threatening situation. Despite the perilous conditions - strong winds, cold temperatures, and a treacherous current - their focus shifted from law enforcement to a dire humanitarian rescue. 🌊 Faced with the sight of an individual struggling for life in the frigid waters, Agents Arballo and Mauldin did not hesitate. Their courageous actions led to the rescue of a person at risk of drowning, demonstrating a remarkable dedication to preserving human life, transcending the immediate scope of their law enforcement duties. This act of valor serves as a profound reminder of the multifaceted responsibilities and the depth of commitment exhibited by those who protect our borders. It highlights the humanity and courage that define our Border Patrol agents. 🔗 For more insights into the Newton-Azrak Award and the inspiring stories of heroism it celebrates, I invite you to explore further at https://bit.ly/3OLVC7P. #BorderPatrol #USBP #HonorFirst #CourageUnderPressure #LawEnforcement

A cycle of violence in three acts: Yesterday, the German Parliament decided to extend the deployment of the German Armed Forces in the EU mission EUNAVFOR MED #Irini by a further year. Among other things, this mission provides training for the so-called Libyan Coast Guard - and forwards them information on maritime emergencies via the EU border agency #Frontex. With high-quality equipment and up-to-the-minute data, this so-called Coast Guard jeopardises human lives through illegal pull-backs to #Libya. This was recently even confirmed by an Italian court in the case of the detention of the Humanity 1! We demand an end to support for the so-called Libyan Coast Guard through Irini. Instead, the German government should finally support a European search and rescue programme to end this cycle!

Liar, liar, truth on fire! The White House (WH) says the border is a challenge; the truth says the border is in crisis. The WH says the border is secure; the truth says the border is open. The WH says the Presidential challenger is the threat; the truth says terrorism is the threat. The WH says giggling and word salads are in; the truth says giddiness and talking in circles are out. The WH says crime is down; the truth says crime is up. The WH says Presidential debate results should be pre-determined; the truth says they should be spontaneous, fair, and open. The WH infers that the Presidential candidate who was targeted twice by assassins wasn't a victim; the truth says he was a victim who was then victimized. The WH says no American soldiers are now in combat; the truth says they are. The WH said the Afghanistan withdrawal was orderly; the truth says 13 soldiers were needlessly killed. The WH says the President graciously stepped down; the truth says he was booted out. The WH says inflation is down; the truth says gasoline, groceries, and home prices are up. The WH says cannibals ate the President's Uncle; the truth says he was not. One hopeful VP says he served in combat; the truth says he did not. The VP hopeful says he was a Command Sgt Major; the truth says he was not. The WH says Americans don't eat dogs; the truth says this is true. The WH says nothing; the truth says everything. And on and on and on. Ad infinitum. Spinning the truth has become an art form, and lying the political soup de jour.
Former Border Patrol Agent Heitke testified that the Harris-Biden admin told him not to release information on the spike in arrests of illegal aliens with ties to terrorism. As our border was being overwhelmed, the admin chose to fly the aliens to other parts of the U.S. instead.

Echoes of the Past: Marfa Checkpoint, 1980 - A Glimpse into Border Patrol History In 1980, the Marfa Checkpoint stood as a testament to the evolving practices of border enforcement. This photograph captures the iconic two-tone seafoam green and white Border Patrol bread truck, emblematic of the era's enforcement strategies. Accompanying it is the traditional Border Patrol sedan, equipped with its distinctive red and blue lights, symbolizing readiness and vigilance. Set against the backdrop of the expansive desert, this temporary checkpoint marks a period of simpler operational times in the Border Patrol's history. Notably, the concept of immigration checkpoints has roots that precede the Border Patrol, with instances dating back to 1922. This image is more than a moment in time; it's a significant fragment of our collective border enforcement legacy. 🔍 For a deeper dive into the history and evolution of the United States Border Patrol, I invite you to visit the HonorFirst Galleries, featuring nearly 2,000 photographs illustrating various facets of USBP history: https://bit.ly/3NTnDIJ #USBP #HonorFirst #BorderPatrol #LawEnforcement #History #Legacy

Web Dev ~ HTML/CSS/JavaScript
1moAre you all developers? Why claim "Dev" when a significant portion of your group seems to lack any noteworthy development experience? It often feels like money and titles are given rather than earned. I'm frustrated with seeing posts from individuals who probably hire based on re-posted portfolio projects. The lack of substantial development work behind this "dev" trend is troubling.
