For everyone DMing me asking to share my shortlisted entry (that's how you create fake hype), here's what we did for Cannes Young Lions 2024.
The idea was not to make an ad that will get people to get up, go and vote. I don't think any ad can do that. It's not that easy. The idea was to decode the brief, understand the problem and try to find a solution.
The goal was to spread awareness so that it raises consideration for voting and then just being hopelessly optimistic that the consideration eventually turns into conversion. So, we might not have won the competition but if this made you consider voting and question your stance on "Does my vote really matters?", I think our job is done.
Winning or getting shortlisted was never the goal, it was just the byproduct of our efforts.
