We, and others, are calling on EU leaders to confirm the Green Deal as a strategic priority in the next EU mandate. As shown by the transition away from SF6, EU Green Deal is the foundation of a competitive, secure, modern and efficient Europe. Together, signatories from across different industries and parts of the continent, are reminding EU leaders that delivering the EU Green Deal is the best strategy for securing Europe's competitiveness and prosperity, providing much-needed clarity and stability to Europe's businesses and citizens. #Certification process - To obtain Green Marine Europe certification, participants must complete all the requirements of the rigorous and transparent certification process. Focus on one of these stages - the external verification - with CorsicaLinea. ✅Every participant must submit its results to an external verifier accredited by Green Marine Europe. The verification process is carried out in person on the company’s premises and it’s based on objective evidence provided by the participant to justify their self-evaluation. ✅Our Outreach Officer, Romain BENOIT, took part in this verification day on 6 May as an observer with the CorsicaLinea teams Chloé Taverni #Sustainable #Development #Manager. André Risholm, Founder and CEO of Amon Maritime, mentions a number of points to ShippingWatch about why Norway is a good breeding ground for a company like theirs. ”One of the reasons is that Norway has a strong maritime cluster with partners that are available locally,” the CEO explains. Solid governance and a healthy mix of pollution charges, mandates and subsidies: no surprise Norway is leading the way on shipping innovation. Norway kicked off its impressive decarbonisation pathway with its NOx Fund and is pushing ahead with its zero-emission fjord mandates. Our Chairman of the Board, Fernando C. Hernandez, had a dynamic low-carbon discussion with the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Consul General, via Mette Tangen. This occurred after Innovation Norway and Brazil's Empresa de Pesquisa Energética signed an MoU to strengthen transatlantic cooperation, which Mette participated in.
