🚨 Recap: Lost Credentials | S2Ep2 | Security Ramp-Up 🔗 Link: https://lnkd.in/en-tyrp8 A massive thank you to Matthew Pye for supporting me, and everyone who joined our second episode. One of my newest hires “Forgetful Fred” couldn’t get into his account and we delved into what to do. 💡 What did we learn?: • How to navigate around the IAM console • What Access Keys are and when they are appropriate to use. • Dove into EC2 credentials and looked at some other services as well • Most importantly, don’t trust someone called “Forgetful Fred” with your most privileged credentials! 📌 Next Episode: Security audit using Prowler | S2Ep3 | Security Ramp-Up 📅 Date: 8 Feb 24 🌟 Description: We are going to look at the open source tool Prowler and why it should be part of your security engineering arsenal. 👉 See you at the next Security Ramp-Up! #SecurityRampUp #AWS #Cybersecurity #Twitch

Exercise patience with your IT departments, in moments like this it is more important to correct the issue following well built procedures rather than just "get everything back up" or "turning security off." Trust your teams and give them a break. #crowdstrike #security #Microsoft #Azure
