Market Potential: - The plant-based meat market could reach $24.8 billion by 2030. - Lab-grown meat is projected to hit $25 billion by the same year. Latest Advancements: - Plant-Based: Innovations include new proteins (pea, mung bean) and 3D printing to replicate meat textures. - Lab-Grown: Progress in scalable production, cost reduction, and regulatory approvals, with Singapore leading the way. Why It Matters: - Sustainability: Lower greenhouse gas emissions and resource use. - Ethical Solutions to animal welfare concerns. - Health: Healthier options with lower saturated fats and no cholesterol.
