[November 2021] I represented the Kingdom of Morocco in the Padova Model Universal Period Review 2021, an academic simulation of a unique United Nations mechanism which reviews the human rights records of all UN Member States. This model offered participants an in-depth understanding of the mechanisms and dynamics of the UPR procedure held in Geneva. NIAF President Robert Allegrini on the power of the Italian Diaspora at the 49th edition of the “Intelligence on the World, Europe and Italy” Forum held in Cernobbio, Italy, organized by The European House-Ambrosetti. At the “Cernobbio Forum” at Lake Como’s Villa d’Este, NIAF, in collaboration with The European House – Ambrosetti, presented the position paper titled, “Harnessing the Power of the Global Italian Diaspora. NIAF President Robert Allegrini was the feature subject in the cover story of the January issue of The Italian American Trade Magazine, a publication of the Watson Society.   President Allegrini’s interview focused on the role of the National Italian American Foundation in championing Italian American heritage and galvanizing cooperation between Italy and United States.
