Make the most out of your job fair participation. Here are some suggestions from DAV.

Employers can all agree, it is fairly easy to know when even the best candidates appears unprepared for an interview, that's why it's best to do everything you can to be on your 'A' game. To help ensure you are prepared, prior to the Diverse Abilities Job Fair we'll be hosting a Zoom meeting that touches on what you can expect at the fair, what you should know before you attend, and how you should prepare to make the most out of this opportunity. Also, learn what makes this job fair different, what types of accommodations will be provided, and how you can set up one-on-one meetings! Sometimes being prepared is the missing ingredient that a candidate needs to feel comfortable at a job fair. Through my colleagues, I've heard rumblings that some companies report seeing a declining trend in traditional job fair attendance and use of their company job posting boards, and websites like Indeed, by students and those in their early career.
