UNSW 19th in the World, undoubtedly exemplifies its global standing through its transformative education and diverse opportunities. Here's how it has shaped my journey: 🎓 As I prepare to graduate from UNSW with a degree in Supply Chain Management, I can't help but reflect on the incredible journey I've had here. 🌟 Throughout my time here, UNSW has been more than an academic institution—it's been a nurturing ground for critical thinking and self-discovery. Here are the key facets of my transformative experience: Encouragement to Question and Think Critically:  UNSW empowered me to question assumptions, not to accept things at face value but to analyze information critically, and approach challenges with a strategic mindset. These skills have been invaluable in my studies in Supply Chain Management and will undoubtedly shape my career ahead. Personal Development: Beyond academic achievements, UNSW placed a significant emphasis on mental wellbeing, ensuring I had the support and resources needed to thrive both academically and personally. Cultural Enrichment: I've had the privilege of studying alongside a diverse cohort representing over 20 countries. Engaging with peers from different cultural backgrounds has expanded my perspectives and deepened my appreciation for global collaboration. Vibrant Campus Life: I stepped out of my comfort zone and engaged in various activities such as hiking, bouldering, rowing, and canyoning, becoming more outdoorsy along the way. Exploration and Flexibility: UNSW's flexible curriculum allowed me to explore various fields through electives, broadening my knowledge and helping me discover new passions beyond my core discipline. Community and Support: The supportive community at UNSW, including faculty, staff, and fellow students, has been instrumental in my growth. The collaborative environment fostered here has encouraged me to push my boundaries and achieve more than I thought possible. UNSW has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to make a meaningful impact in the world. We provide a full scholarship each Cyber Defense Analyst Program training program for those going through financial hardships, but are passionate and looking to develop the skills and knowledge for Cybersecurity Analyst Tier 1 & 2 positions. Next cohort starts in January, accepting applications until Dec 8. You'll go through 2 months of rigorous training developing the competencies, then we'll put you through a 1 month engagement in our virtual Security Operations Center that we developed. It'll be very similar to on the job tasks at this point. You'll respond to and resolve alerts and tickets generated from security tools detecting malicious and anomalous endpoint and network activity. Afterwards you'll go through a 1-week live practical exam to put it all to the test, manually reviewed and graded by us instructors (no multiple choice).
