As we celebrate Teacher's Day today, I want to acknowledge a teacher who has been with me throughout my journey - Life itself! Life has taught me lessons that no classroom or textbook could ever replicate. It has been my guiding light, my mentor, and my friend, shaping me into the person I am today. With every experience, Life has taught me: ▶️ To embrace uncertainty and find opportunities in change ▶️To be resilient and persevere through adversity ▶️ To practice empathy and compassion towards others ▶️To stay true to myself and celebrate my uniqueness ▶️ To appreciate the beauty in every moments These lessons have been invaluable, and I continue to learn and grow with each passing day. Journaling thoughts this morning… Your truth is always present, you simply need to stay connected to it. You chose this human experience to learn and grow. So live this journey. Love this journey. Step into the classroom with your heart as your notepad and your senses as your pen. Allow the curriculum to unfold. Don’t try to skip grades or test out of classes you don’t believe you need. It’s all intentional. The peaks and valleys, marathons and sprints. The polarity of life is foundational and represents law in action. Fighting it only results in unnecessary struggle. The higher good is the stream’s natural current. Your choice to swim against it will only delay your mastery of life’s curriculum 💕

The past serves as an invaluable teacher, offering lessons through the mistakes and experiences we've encountered. By reflecting on our actions and their outcomes, we gain insights that guide our future decisions, helping us avoid repeating errors. Embracing these lessons with an open mind fosters growth, resilience, and wisdom, ultimately shaping a more informed and thoughtful path forward.

The power of curiosity. How often do we stop to question the way we approach our teaching? How regularly do we scrutinise our knowledge, question our methodologies and challenge our own opinions? As teachers, it is our job to instigate a sense of curiosity and questioning in our students. But how often do we apply this to ourselves? The most treasured tool in a teacher's kit is wonderment, the ability to be ceaselessly curious. Curiosity doesn't just pertain to knowledge; it extends into every aspect of our profession. From exploring new teaching strategies, investigating adaptable lesson plans to experimenting with unique student engagement techniques. To keep evolving as educators, let us keep that flame of curiosity burning bright. Ask questions, seek answers and never stop learning. After all, aren't we all eternal students at heart?
