The research conducted for the Medical Leaders for Current and Future Health Care report was informed by the 5+9 model, which identifies five key healthcare trends to 2030 and nine areas to drive system improvement.     The 5+9 model, identified by Braithwaite and a cohort of 148 international colleagues across 152 countries, is outlined in the article, ‘Beyond the aspirational: creating the future of health care in Australia’: https://lnkd.in/gKZnBDAZ  The five trends, it is predicted, will impact health systems over this decade.
