Today is Thanksgiving. The one day a year we Americans are able to: - Gather with family & friends - Catch up with our old pals - Have fun with the kids - Stuff our faces full - Have a drink(s) With no commitments to work or life. Yet today, most people will fill their day with: ❌ Moaning ❌ Groaning ❌ Complaining So when you’re tempted to start moaning about your obnoxious aunt, remember this: You have (on average) 77 Thanksgivings in your lifetime. If you’re over 40, you’ve got under 40 left. Now take into account: - Your parents won’t be here forever - Your friends aren’t immortal either - Your kids may move away You may have just 5 or 6 Thanksgivings left with your favorite people. So don’t spend it moaning. Cherish today. Cherish every second of it, because you won’t experience it again. Focus on the fact you will never have THIS Thanksgiving again and spend it wisely. Oh and of course, happy turkey day 🦃 ★
