Stop Ghosting Candidates: Transform the Hiring Experience Job searching is emotionally taxing. Candidates pour their time, effort, and often finances into preparing for interviews. A touch of empathy can make a world of difference. Instead of leaving candidates in the dark, take the time to acknowledge their efforts. Transparency is key; most candidates prefer honest feedback over silence. Swift, clear communication not only enhances your brand's reputation but also fosters respect and courtesy within the industry. Avoid being the organization known for ghosting. #GHOSTING #HIRING #EXPERIENCE #COMMUNICATION #OFFERS

The coffee trick Many high growth companies in America, hire people untraditional way bypassing boring, stereotype job interviews. Candidates prepare hard for interview & companies never sweat the small stuff. One of the untraditional hiring trick is, what is called coffee trick. In this way, the interviewer offer cup of coffee to candidates gently & politely. By offering cup of coffee, these companies want to see the behaviour of candidates. Some candidates would go to kitchen, wash the cup & place it to the right place, some would call other staff to remove from table, some may even do nothing after finishing coffee. You might be thinking, who is the lucky guy will be hired? which is the right behavior? What would you if you are given opportunity to drink cup of coffee? Tell me in comment box & i will tell you, which candidate will be hired? #management #hiring #coffee

Can we talk about candidates ghosting recruiters? I'm curious why no one talks about candidates ghosting recruiters instead of just focusing on recruiters ghosting candidates. The number of no-shows at interviews is ridiculous. Why does no one mention candidates not showing up for interviews? I've had four no-shows this week, and it's only Wednesday. While summer is tough for scheduling with its vacations and distractions, I see this year-round. I'm usually forgiving, but I'm curious about how others handle this. Is a no show a red flag that shouldn't be overlooked, or is it understandable given our busy work and life schedules? 👩🏻💻Hi, I'm Ximena, a Talent Acquisition Professional advocating for DEI and candidate experience. 💪🏻 I specialize in elevating recruiting processes and transforming career journeys ☕ I'm always open to meeting or chatting with other Talent Professionals! Actual (and avoidable) reasons candidates have been passed on for an entry-level position 👇 1. Criticizing their previous employer excessively during the interview. 2. Monologing, leaving no room for the hiring manager to participate or ask questions. 3. Showing up in a sweatshirt and jeans with visible holes, despite being informed of appropriate interview attire in the confirmation email. For roles where minimal experience is required, presenting yourself professionally and putting your best foot forward during the interview is key. 🔑 #StayHirable #Interview #EntryLevel #Professionalism #Hiring #Recruiting #Tips #Feedback #StayClassy

Being ghosted after an interview is when you don't hear from a company after you've met with them for a job interview. To end up 'ghosted', some 2-way communication must have previously existed. If you submitted a job application without a reply, this does not qualify as ghosting. Ghosting usually happens when factors outside an applicant's control impact the hiring process. Here is a useful short article about it: #jobinterview #jobsearch #career #humanresources Olivera Coaching & Consulting

Candidate POV: Hiring managers, you will be remembered for treating people like people. I once received this email after an interview, and it has stuck with me, especially as so many employers simply ghost rejected applicants. It's a small world; you never know who will show back up in your life, so please be kind. Please offer feedback. Please be encouraging. It will make a lasting impression. And ghosted candidates, maybe it wasn't you. Maybe your interview went better than you thought. Maybe they were really impressed and just never reached out to tell you. Keep going! . . #hiring #hiringmanager #hiringmanagers #hr #humanrescources #interviewprocess #interviewing #followup #followupemail #candidates #candidatesearch #idealcandidate #applicants #applications #interviewtips #interviewresponse #employeers #keepgoing #encouragement #followupemail #passion #professionalism #feedback #interviewfeedback

Hey HR and Hiring Managers, listen up! After 24 years and hundreds of thousands of resumes, we’ve seen it all—and we’re not impressed. Job seekers are absolutely PISSED about the pathetic follow-up (or lack thereof) in your interview process. It's time to step up your game and bring some basic manners back into this circus. Stop ghosting people and start showing some respect. Your next candidate might be the one calling you out next! #resumewriting #dobetter #jobsearch

I've seen some posts on LI recently pushing back against ghosting people after interviews and I couldn't agree more!! I think we've normalized it being okay when it's really not. I have been guilty of it in the past as well but it's pretty rude and unprofessional. We are all busy with work, life and whatever else we have going on. That being said, none of us are too busy to take literally seconds to send a 'thank you for your time, we've decided to go in a different direction' response via email. That email goes a longer way than you think for the job candidate. #hiring #ghosting #hiringtalent #recruitment #recuriting #marketingjobs #revenuejobs #salesjobs #interviewing #interview #professionalism #professionalismmatters #jobs
