I used to get caught up in getting it all done. There was always more to do and I thought if I could just work harder or work smarter, I would feel better. I would feel accomplished. But I just never got there. What I didn't realize, was that it would never be done. Celebrating was something I only did for the huge gains which did not happen very often. So I didn't cultivate those feelings of joy. I learned over time that celebrating your wins more frequently brought more joy to my life. So celebrate more often. You did great this week. Give yourself a pat on the back and find a way you can celebrate today. 🎉 🥂 Do something that brings you joy. 🔵 Have a picnic. You can do this at a park, at the beach, in your own yard, or even your own living room. 🔵 Cook a special meal. Doing this with friends or your kids can be fun. 🔵 Garden. Being outside, close to nature, and having something beautiful to look at when you are done can be a very joyful activity. 🔵 Explore your neighborhood. Just wander. You never know what treasures you will find. 🔵 Or just have a dance party. It's important to celebrate. It's important to cultivate those good feelings as much as you can. You are important! So, make it your purpose today to celebrate you.

Celebrate more victories! I used to think everyone likes celebrations. I mean who doesn't, right? Getting together, partying, clicking pictures, being ecstatic etc. But then I myself got to a point where I stopped celebrating. Asking, "Is this even worth celebrating?" hindered my mind. Because of this, I stopped seeing how far I had come as I was always looking for how far I had to go. Then I saw the same pattern around my people, my team and I realised that this has to change! This is when me & my colleague started the Party Planning Committee (PPC). We started celebrating birthdays, successful major deployments, team outings etc. People started celebrating too! Professional and Personal milestones. And now it has become a norm. We work, we celebrate. Simple. In this photo, our client team and we are celebrating one such much-awaiting victory. This was post a major, major requirement that involved multiple teams, stakeholders and management decisions. How often do you celebrate? Let me know in the comments 👇 Follow Gaurav Shirwalkar for more such content.

Different, scared, unsure - this is where I started. During Pride Month, I want to celebrate "being at home with myself." It was quite a journey to get here. First, I knew I was different but didn't understand what it was (I was 5). Then, I started to understand but pushed it away. Later, I knew what it was but didn't know how to talk about it. Then I tried to talk about it, but it was too scary. Eventually, it wasn't that scary, but I had concerns. Finally, slowly but surely, it became okay to be who I am and to talk about it. I'm sure you understand: We all have parts of ourselves that we need to accept. Maybe you're on that journey of acceptance now. I have only one piece of advice: Be kind to yourself. Even if others are not, you be kind to you. 🌈 ____________ ♻️ Spread the love and repost! 📌 Follow me to make intentional changes at work and in life

Congratulate, Celebrate, Be Happy for Others, Love for others what you would love for yourself. 👏🏻 In our fast-paced, achievement-driven world, it’s easy to get caught up in our own successes and goals. But taking a moment to congratulate others can have a profound impact—not just on those we acknowledge, but on ourselves as well. From personal experience, I’ve found that congratulating others brings a sense of fulfillment and connection. It shifts our focus from competition to collaboration, reminding us that success is not a zero-sum game. Every “Congratulations!” we extend is a step towards building a more inclusive and motivating community. So, the next time a colleague reaches a milestone, a friend lands a new job, or someone you know achieves something great, take a moment to celebrate with them. You’ll be surprised at how much it enriches both their journey and yours. 🚀
