We asked CraftHaus to be part of our beer lineup for Craft Brewers Conference 2024 and brew something that challenged their creativity and would stand out amongst the other beers at CBC. They landed on a Cold IPA, aptly named Blizzard Beast, featuring El Dorado® CGX™ & T-90, Amarillo® CGX™ & T-90, and Chinook T-90. We caught up with Cameron Fisher, Head Brewer at CraftHaus, to discuss why he chose to brew this Cold IPA and talk challenges and successes along the way. #crosbyhops #cgx #cryogeniclupulinpellets #craft #beer #craftbeer #lupulin #hops

Hey brewers, wondering how to get your brews in the hands of more craft beer lovers? Expanding your licensee base is a great place to start, because: - Folks visiting restaurants and bars may be more willing to try a new beer by the pint than committing to buying an entire case. - Restaurant or bar licensees may have tapped into a community or audience you haven't engaged with yet. - Distributing kegs to licensees can be more cost-efficient and produce better profit than selling packs of bottles or cans. Here are 5 key, actionable steps you could take right now to begin growing your licensees: https://lnkd.in/gJ3tT8Wf #craftbeer #craftbrewery #beer #beverageindustry

What Type of Beer Bottle Can I Choose? Beer bottle types There are so many types of beer glass bottle available ready for craft brewers. The designs vary greatly in shapes and sizes and the glass commonly is brown to reduce spoilage from light, especially ultraviolet. How can I choose the right bottles from large variety of collection? The most importation point is to meet the requirement of functional use, choosing a durable, food-safe containers that ensure your beverages taste as good as when first made. Why choose amber glass bottles The beer glass color you choose for your craft brewer will greatly impact its taste. Dark amber or brown glass greatly reduces UV light from spoiling the beer. Sure, any colored glass beer bottles filter out both visible and ultraviolet light. Brown glass blocks out more light than green, making it the optimal choice for bottling homebrew. Dark beers also absorb more light than light beers, making it essential to store stouts, bocks, and the like in brown bottles, while lighter beers can be stored in green bottles.

Cut through the noise to create unforgettable marketing that grows your small business. StoryBrand Certified. Small business champion. Indy advocate.
Is craft beer dying? What used to be exciting now feels paralyzing. Ten or twelve years ago, I loved visiting a liquor store to scope out new beer options. I was an IPA geek. Lately, I walk into a liquor store, sift through twenty variations of "hazy" something or other, get overwhelmed, and leave. Unless you have brand/brewery loyalty, there is no way to differentiate between the dozen different takes on a Hazy IPA. It's overwhelming. Breweries need to find a way to stand out in the sea of sameness. Everyone is competing for the craziest name and wildest can design. It's all become noise. Maybe it's time to simplify? Go with simpler designs. Give clear tasting notes on the can. Offer a cheaper packaging option for folks to try your product before spending $15 on a 4-pack they might not love. Shopping the local craft beer case at a liquor store feels like looking at an old Magic Eye in the newspaper. I have to stare for two minutes and go cross-eyed before anything stands out. I love visiting local breweries, but shopping for craft beer at a liquor store isn't fun anymore. Anyone else? Our team are always on the lookout for a new craft beer so it was a bit sad to see this slate in the corner of a London pub. On first glance it's an RIP to the craft dream. Or is it? is it a testament to the success of craft beers in carving out a niche in an ultra competitive market and the need of major brewers to buy a little of that cool for their brand? The big brewers are always going to struggle to innovate and it makes sense for them to easily acquire new flavours and markets than do the hard yards themselves. The success of craft beers over a sustained period of time has helped redefine the market for beer, making beer palatable to new audiences, younger people, women, etc. As consumers we can instantly recognise a craft beer just by the label. But there maybe risks for these labels in losing their identity, tastes, flavours and sense of cool once absorbed by the majors. Can (craft) brewers maintain that success in a time of increasing of runaway inflation, soaring raw material costs and shifting consumer trends? We hope so! #beers #branding #brewing
