#NAMICon, here I come!   Leaving for #Denver soon for the #NAMI annual meeting and the opportunity to introduce Cover My Mental Health to #mentalhealth advocates from across the country.     Among the obstacles to mental health care are #stigma, #networkadequacy, and #insurancedenials.   I founded @Cover My Mental Health to support self-advocacy to overcome insurance obstacles to mental health care, like #medicalnecessity #denials, no in-network provider, and blocked access to #telehealth.   We offer a range of free resources, including medical necessity letter templates, key point scripts for talking to insurers, worksheets to demonstrate no in-network provider, and more!   My goals for #Denver: 1. Schedule webinars with NAMI affiliates to share Cover My Mental Health in their communities; 2. Invite NAMI affiliates to add Cover My Mental Health tips to their newsletters; and  3. Gain commitments for links to Cover My Mental Health on advocacy websites to increase awareness of our resources; and  4.
