🧢 Taking off my work hat for a moment and putting on my hobby hat. I am a proud member of River City Disc Golf Club. This October, we are partnering with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to host a community event, including a disc golf skills clinic, lunch, adult beverages, and a round of disc golf on one of the most unique courses in Richmond. If you are interested in supporting efforts to find a cure for cystic fibrosis or grabbing a few friends/collogues and getting out in the fresh air to try your hand at a new sport (no experience needed), I encourage you to check out the links below and get it on your calendar. Brainpower needed. It's career fair season. Associated General Contractors of Virginia, along with Build Your Future Virginia, will be on the road and reaching tens of thousands of students, encouraging them to "Dare to Build". Most career fairs require hands-on activities, and we need fresh ideas. If you have any suggestions on a construction-related activity where students can take a few minutes to experience how challenging and rewarding the industry can be, I am all ears!
