This approach helps in understanding complex biology and ensuring precise treatment for patients by analyzing multimodal data from thousands of patients across various cancer indications. AI driven spatial biology pushed 🚀 ! We have now included 600 patients! MOSAIC research, an Owkin initiative, is pioneering large-scale spatial omics with world-leading academic and industry partners as we build the world's largest oncology dataset with multimodal data from 7,000 patients. Across 5 cancer indications and 6 data modalities, with our partnering cancer research hospitals across Europe and the US - Gustave Roussy CHUV / Centre hospitalier universitaire vaudois, Universitätsklinikum Erlangen, chariteberlin and University of Pittsburgh. I agree that there are enormous opportunities for single-cell technologies in the clinical space, from understanding biological processes and discovering biomarkers to disease diagnosis. However, when it comes to solid tissue cancer, hurdles arise as most of these technologies require tissue dissociation.
