Senior Network Engineer, Randolph AFB, TX support for the Air Force Comply to Connect (C2C) effort. Successful candidate will collaborate closely with AETC. Requires a currently active SECRET clearance. Responsibilities: Systems/Infrastructure Engineering Support: Requirements analysis, network architecture assessment and development, design, testing, implementation, and sustainment of the AETC C2C environment. Compliance Management: Ensure strict adherence to specific DoD policies. Support JFHQ-DoDIN TASKORD 21-0024 and JFHQ-DoDIN CTO 21-350 requirements, ensuring timely implementation and reporting. Network Access and Security Support: Install, configure, document, operate, and maintain the CR365 Network Access and Security Support, and C2C Policy solution for all AETC Air Force Base locations, comprising 12 geographically-separated bases. System Sustainment: Ensure the continuous maintenance of the C2C baseline system. Identify vulnerabilities and automate STIG compliance checks and 3rd Party tool Agent Status Checks and remediation. IA Policy Compliance: Verify that all system and application deliverables meet rigorous IA policy. Patch Management: Apply operating system and software upgrades, patches, and hot fixes promptly and efficiently. Communication and Coordination: Collaborate with Communication Squadrons/Units, Network Operations Squadrons (NOS), and 16AF to resolve installation and sustainment issues, offering crucial post-implementation support to end-users. Core skills and requirements: ·       Experience with Comply to Connect ·       Experience with Forescout ·       Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience. ·       A minimum of 5 years' experience in Computer Science or a related field. ·       8570 IAT Level II Certification IAW 8570.01-M and Forescout Certified Professional. ·       Knowledge of LAN infrastructure, server hardware and software platforms, and related support tools at a 7 Level, 3D1X2, Cyber Transport Technician, 3D0X2, Cyber Systems Operator, Infrastructure Technology Support Specialist, and Server Operating System (OS), Database, and Web application administrator levels. ·       Experience interfacing with external agencies to resolve technical issues impacting directorate/unit users. ·       Knowledge of LAN/WAN and server operations environment planning, operation, and maintenance, including the installation and implementation of network and server enhancements. ·       Familiarity with assessment methodologies associated with regulations or directives prescribed by DISA, DoD, and AF instructions or regulations, ensuring correct application or implementation on networked devices and Automated Information Systems operating on the AETC enterprise.
