Today is the report deadline for the Churchill Fellowship!* *If you want to submit it for approval AND be able to attend the dinner... which I do (any excuse to dress up!) This past month has been stressful, I'm not going to sugarcoat it. Deciding on which parts of interviews to use, to pull out key themes and make a coherent argument for accessibility, while also showcasing case studies, practical actionable advice, and highlighting areas for innovation and improvement... I'm confident that my report- Beyond Barriers: Building inclusive work-cultures for disabled employees to drive innovation- will be an interesting read and useful resource for many people. I started with six themes, which was pointed out looked more like individual PhD theses (I don't do things by halves..) which have been cut to four that I am thrilled with- this piece of work has been a labour of love, that I can't wait to share. (Cut with the knowledge that the others will be there for me to write and follow up with in the future...) From the perspective of building accessible and inclusive work cultures for disabled employees, I look at 'reasonable' adjustments, building an inclusive work culture, operating on global vs local levels, and a look at the trending topic- AI. And all the innovation potential that comes along with these topics! If you're signed up for my newsletter (Access &) you will be sent it as soon as it's available, otherwise keep an eye out end of June/ July for the digital copy (fancy printed ones soon to follow...)
