This is a nice start. Please keep in focus the problem with environmental identifications is we never seem to get results or solve it. We went all in to organize and mine something to make a bomb, why not mine a healing for those lands all in like that? The people just get labeled with it and not treated, balanced or really compensated for their property loss or get their property treated to balance and safety. Those that DO get care for the land or infrastructure and change do not get transparency and tests to make sure. It's like telling you there is not a uti anymore when you know and can even go test for yourself, that is what injustice still feels like in your community too. You see just a company that makes money for changes but does not have to show and prove accountability for the problem in the first place. Meanwhile the people are left with things and not even compensated in what they paid for, their safety nets not working or their losses. I would prefer to know facts about the sites instead of feelings. Like the note at the bottom about racial injustice in Flint. Huh! How is that dealing with replacing infrastructure and testing again. Why are the people yelling "You are racist" what is not being done to fix it?

#Louisiana is one of only four states that has a public trust doctrine enshrined in the state’s constitution. The doctrine, which requires that state regulators protect the environment, is now being reexamined in a new case concerning #EnvironmentalJustice and air permitting in Louisiana. In a recent article from InsideEPA, several Liskow blog posts authored by our environmental justice lawyers were featured in discussing how the doctrine may fare in this court challenge. Some of the issues brought up in the article include: • Whether an #EnvironmentalJustice analysis is required under the public trust doctrine.  • What standards apply to an #EnvironmentalJustice analysis. The first Annual Report from California’s Multibenefit Land Repurposing Program came out this week and it’s exciting to see growing capacity and collaboration to support water sustainability in California. MLRP brings needed funds to high-priority and critically overdrafted basins, enhancing resilience by repurposing the least-viable agricultural lands in ways that support local needs including protecting communities and the environment.
