1moI may not agree with you on many things, but I couldn’t agree more with this statement. We need to talk with one another instead of talking to, across, and over each other. When we stop to listen, we might all learn something in the dialogue and perhaps find that our differences aren’t as deep as they are portrayed. I find that in conversations with people of varying backgrounds and beliefs, we often hold many of the same beliefs and goals, but differ in approach. And perhaps, some subset of those beliefs and goals.
