Converseon CEO was at the AMEC Global Summit to present and discussion "Tackling Data Quality Issues in an AI World." Key themes from the presentation include. Data quality issues are absolutely essential when processing unstructured social and media data. The general standard accuracy of about 65% is simply not good enough for an era where gen AI is amplifying errors. There are new approaches to measure, validate, fine tune, govern and deploy. models easily that not only provide accuracy that is superior to individual humans, but also provides a full suite of "trusted AI" features that is needed to align with AI Act and emerging regulations. The results, include generating better trust and adoption in the data, reducing "hallucinations," and associated risks, and unlocking the value of this data to more advanced use cases like predictive analytics. He called for a Data Integrity Council - cross functional and organizational - to educate, advocate and motivate organizations to raise data standards for this massive and important data set.
