Rice recently led a talk at the Gastech Exhibition & Conference in Houston titled, “Driving Purposeful Industry Progress on Methane Reduction.” Rice shared how EQT has reduced its methane intensity by 70% through operational efficiencies and by using advanced technology, such as Context Labs’ Decarbonization as a Service (DaaS™) platform. DaaS allows EQT to accurately quantify, and reduce carbon intensity across its end-to-end value chain, generating full lifecycle carbon intensity scores that help EQT demonstrate stronger proof of performance. EQT is not only taking proactive steps to better manage its carbon footprint, it’s showcasing that leading with transparency also can drive innovation and unlock commercial value.
