Find us on Amazon... Excerpt: "The Sultanate of Oman is at a very critical stage in its economic development. As the country diversifies into a more dynamic economy, sectors such as intellectual property, FinTech, blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and cybersecurity will all become of ever-increasing importance. One of the things that makes these areas so important is their potential to enhance Oman's attractiveness for Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). FDI thrives in environments where "best practice" corporate governance is assured. This guidebook is a practical resource for public company boards of directors and executive management, as well as anyone else with an interest in learning more about corporate governance." #corporategovernance #fdi #gcc #esg #oman #saudiarabia

2024-05-24 AsSalam... Breaking the Cycle of Same Old Thinking, Same Old Results. "But we've always done it this way!"...must be a very familiar phrase. Thank you, Dr. Travis Bradberry, for this insightful reminder. This mindset traps us in a loop of repetitive thinking and results. It's time to break free and embrace change for true transformation. I can also share a bit about the Results Pyramid Model from "Change the Culture, Change the Game" by Roger Connors and Tom Smith, that perfectly illustrates this concept. Our beliefs drive our actions, which in turn produce our results. To achieve different outcomes, we must start by changing our beliefs and thinking patterns. Steps to Break the Cycle: 1.Challenge Existing Beliefs: Question the status quo and be open to new perspectives. 2. Adopt New Mindsets: Embrace innovation and continuous improvement. 3. Take Action: Implement changes that align with the new beliefs and mindsets. 4. Evaluate Results: Assess the outcomes and refine the process. By transforming our thinking, we can unlock new possibilities and drive significant improvements in our projects and organizations. ♻️ Don't forget to like, comment, and repost this message to inspire and uplift others. ♻️ Follow Noor Zulkifli Noor Ibrahim for more inspiring content and insights. #ChangeManagement #Innovation #Leadership #ResultsPyramid #ContinuousImprovement #Transformation #CultureChange #ProjectManagement #Inspiration

One of the advantages to staying in a place for an extended period of time is when someone thinks an idea is "new", but it isn't, you have the wisdom to help make that idea a better success than the times it was tried before. You also have the wisdom to prevent an idea from being implemented with negative consequences. Most people exercise ideas they learned from experiences with others, or ideas they saw someone else implement. Smart individuals know this, so they know when to tinker and how much they should, but also when to accept Murphy's Law. There's something to be said for wisdom and experience, which can sometimes be forgotten when chasing diplomas and shiny portfolio's.
