This is TERRIBLE! Patrice Motsepe has been an absolute disaster as CAF president. I honestly never heard of this man before until the ‘Swiss Kojak’, Gianni Infantino forced him on Africans as CAF president. Since then, he has steadily worked on systematically destroying African football. Why are the AFCON and WAFCON always secondary to every other global competition, to the extent that the AFCON was pushed back to accommodate the FIFA Club World Cup (imagine the absurdity of that) and the WAFCON won’t be played for almost two years after the qualifying nations have already been known? How is this helping to develop African football? Patrice Motsepe must be removed as CAF president as he has been an absolute disaster. For the record as well, the CAF presidency must stay in sub-Sahara Africa.

The ingenuity and hard work of the Executive Committee and that Mr. President Dr. Patrice Motsepe are truly commendable. Hosting two significant tournaments within the short space of one year is no small feat, and we applaud the dedication and passion of the Confederation Africaine de Football (CAF) team. We are beyond excited to witness the excitement and thrill of top-class football, as the best teams and players from across Africa converge to battle it out for glory. Here's to a spectacular tournament that promises to showcase the beauty of African football, unity, and sportsmanship! Finally the dates for WAFCON are out though it will be 19 months after teams that qualified for the tournament have been known. It's better done than not and I implore CAF to give the same energy they give towards AFCON to WAFCON since both tournaments are important.
