Happy International Women's Day! Today, we honor the strength, resilience, achievements, and contributions of women everywhere. From our talented team members to the inspiring creators we collaborate with, we're privileged to be surrounded by incredible women who push boundaries and shape the future. Our Women's Network ERG kicked off Women's History Month and International Women's Day in New York City with a networking breakfast and book swap. Breakfast was courtesy of women-owned, Gumption Coffee. As we mark this day, let's continue to foster an inclusive environment where every woman's voice is heard, valued, and celebrated. Together, we can continue to drive progress, champion equality, and create a world where all women can thrive.

March is not just another month; it's a time to honour and celebrate the remarkable achievements of women throughout history. Since 1987, Women's History Month has been celebrated every March, with International Women's Day, taking place on 8th March. What is Women's History Month? 📍Women’s History Month started as just a week-long celebration in the 1980s. It has since evolved into a month-long celebration that champions women’s rights as well as the achievements of women throughout history. 📍It’s a celebration recognised in many parts of the world between March 1 and March 31 📍While International Women’s Day, held on March 8, came first, Women’s History Month serves as an extension of ongoing campaigning to achieve #genderequality throughout our world. 📍The legacy of Women’s History Month can be traced back to the United States, with reports suggesting the first week kicked off in California in 1978. In the UK, it’s thought the firstly weekly celebrations emerged in 1981 before it became a month-long event in 1987. 📍This year’s theme is “Women Who Advocate for #Equity, #Diversity and #Inclusion”. Why not start your celebrations with this fantastic interactive timeline exploring women’s activism from generations past and present ♀️https://lnkd.in/eKf2FFKQ From trailblazing pioneers to modern-day leaders, #womenshistorymonth is a tribute to the strength, intelligence and indomitable spirit of women across the globe - women of the world, unite! #womenshistorymonth #Equity #Diversity #Inclusion #Spirit

To embrace this year's International Women's Day theme, #InspireInclusion, we hosted a speaker session for our colleagues, featuring women across the business who shared their achievements, challenges, advice, and what inclusion means to them. To continue the conversation and to celebrate Women's History Month, we’ll feature quotes from our speakers to share key highlights from the discussion throughout March. Today, we are excited to highlight the perspective of Cassie Krejci, Head of Science and Innovation for North America. Check out what she shared from our insightful conversation. Q: Have you ever felt you've experienced resistance based on your gender, and if so, how have you dealt with it? A: In this stage of my life, the biggest resistance I’ve experienced is that I’m a mom and I travel quite a bit of the time. The resistance conversations always come up in the form of ‘who is taking care of your kids?’, and I face it with humor most often by responding with ‘their dad’. In general, my kids get to see how you can go to work and focus on your career while having a really well-balanced focused home life. The conversations that I had as I mentored or talked with young women coming into this industry is to make sure you make your goals known and don’t let conversations about your home life or what you should be doing change those goals. #WomensHistoryMonth

Let's celebrate women! while I firmly believe that every day should be International Women's Day, I would like to take this special day as an opportunity to shine a brighter light on the concept of equality. Sadly, the principle of equality is still not practiced as universally as it should be, and women around the world continue to struggle to find their way in a world that often does not give them the respect and appreciation they rightly deserve. This lack of recognition permeates all areas of life, from professional environments to personal relationships, and underscores a systemic problem that requires our immediate and relentless attention. I envision a future where we no longer need to set aside a specific day to celebrate women's achievements and stand up for their rights. Instead, I envision a world where every day is a testament to the incredible strength, resilience and contributions of women. Whether they are sisters who share their love, teachers who train minds with wisdom and patience, cleaners who care for our spaces with diligence and pride, or mothers, single or partnered, who give us the gift of life and lessons of kindness, every woman deserves to be celebrated. The path to true equality is complex and full of challenges. Yet it is a journey that we must embark on together, with solidarity, empathy and a deep-rooted belief in the power of change. Let's use this day not just to celebrate, but as a clear call to action - to build a more inclusive, equitable and respectful society where the value of every woman is recognized and celebrated, not just today, but every single day of the year. To all the women of the world: your courage inspires us, your dedication moves us, and your love transforms us. May we all strive to create a world where your brilliance is recognized and amplified, not just on International Women's Day, but every day that follows. Here's to celebrating every woman, in every corner of the world, today and always.

Happy International Women's Day! Today, we celebrate the incredible achievements and contributions of women around the world. This year, the theme is "Inspire Inclusion," and it couldn't be more fitting. When we inspire others to understand and value women's inclusion, we're not just shaping a brighter future – we're creating a world where everyone belongs. But it doesn't stop there. When women themselves are inspired to be included, there's an undeniable sense of belonging, relevance, and empowerment. Together, let's break down barriers, challenge stereotypes, and uplift each other to reach new heights. As we honor the trailblazers who came before us and pave the way for future generations, let's remember that true progress is made when we stand together in solidarity. Let's inspire inclusion, celebrate diversity, and forge a more equitable world for all women. Happy International Women's Day to all the incredible women out there – today and every day! Let's keep inspiring inclusion and changing the world, one empowered woman at a time. #InternationalWomensDay #InspireInclusion #EmpowerWomen #DiversityandInclusion
