When the insanely crazy Valkyrie road isn't enough, you go for the crazy bat****, Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro! Like the Valkyrie Road, it was built in collaboration with Red Bull Racing with none other than Adrian Newey leading the project. But let's get one thing straight, aside from the Cosworth V12, the Street Valkyrie and AMR Pro share very little else in common. The AMR Pro is built for one purpose and one purpose only - to chew up asphalt on the track and spit it out. This is a monster on a whole new level. Bred to push boundaries. And that's the case. As noted above, powering this monster is the same Cosworth 6.5L V12 that screams at 11,000 rpm, producing 1,000 hp. This time around, the KERS system has been removed to save weight. Although it's important to note, a small electric motor on the gearbox helps propel the car to 25 km/h to save on the carbon clutch, and then the V12 takes effect. The gearbox itself is a 7-speed transmission. Adrian Newey said the AMR Pro produces twice as much as the road car, with the entire package weighing less than 2,200 pounds. It's also wider, longer and lower than the street version. Pure racing car. This particular example is finished in Xenon Gray. Inside, pure racing car. Just the essentials. The driver is attached to the seat by a racing harness, wrapped in black Alcantara. Carbon fiber basically engulfs every surface. A real cockpit. In total, 40 AMR Pro examples were built. They sold out before they were even revealed to the public, giving new customers the ultimate experience. Chris Harris said the AMR pro “shattered” his expectations. Big compliments. If you want to see the punishment of the AMR Pro flats, head over to James aka MrJWW's YouTube channel and check out his day on the rails. #astonmartin #valkyrie #amrpro #hypercar #cosworth #redbull #performance #speed #uk 🇬🇧 #Anis_Maaouia

Nutty performance - the fast McMurtry Spéirling! A 1000hp single-seat electric hypercar rocket that showed up out of nowhere at the 2022 Goodwood Festival of Speed driven by Max Chilton, setting a fast second run of 39.081 on the Hill Climb. This broke the old record of 41.6 seconds held by one of McLaren's Formula 1 cars 25 years ago. It also achieved a verified 0-60 mph in 1.4 seconds and a quarter-mile run of 7.97 seconds. So you may be wondering where this performance comes from. Well, it incorporates two electric motors (one for each rear wheel), generating 1000hp as mentioned. It weighs just 2200lbs (997kg) and generates an absurd 4400lbs (2000kg) of downforce from the twin turbine fans under the car. As some may know, Gordon Murray used a fan in his Brabham BT46 "Fan Car" in 1978, a car that Niki Lauda drove to victory in the Swedish GP that year. Something Gordon has also chosen to incorporate into his new T. 50 supercar – his McLaren F1 “spiritual successor”. These fans on the Spéirling are also loud at full speed, giving it a jet fighter sound when at full tilt. The maximum speed is around 200 km/h. Although this version is only a prototype, McMurtry Automotive plans to build a track-only variant called "Pure." McMurtry said this new variant will perform even better than the record-breaking prototype. Only 100 will be built. #mcmurtry #speirling #hypercar #ev #performance #speed #goodwoodf #uk 🇬🇧 #Anis_Maaouia

Royalty - the Stirling Moss Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR! When it comes to legendary cars, the list has some of the most iconic machines ever conceived by man. And this is no exception. Stirling Moss piloted this 300 SLR to victory in the 1955 Mille Miglia. He blasted across the Italian country side, finishing the race in 10 hours 7 minutes and 53 seconds, at an average speed of 97.96mph. A record that will never been broken. The "722" that adorns the car, depicts the time he left and has become a moniker on special editions of Mercedes models since. Now here it is, decades later in London. A public outing. Powering the 300 SLR is the engine out of the W196 Formula 1 car, bored & stroked from 2.5L to 3.0L. It is a straight-8 making a peak of 310hp with 296lb-ft of torque (290hp sustained). The valves & mechanical direct fuel injection from the V12 in the Messerschmitt fighter was also used. Sir Stirling Moss described the car as "The greatest sports racing car ever built, really an unbelievable machine.". Only 9 were made in total, two of which special hybrid prototypes. These two were named the Uhlenhaut Coupés, after Rudolf Uhlenhaut. One of the two sold for a record $142 million to a private buyer. #mercedes #300slr #stirlingmoss #legendary #millemiglia #performance #speed #germany 🇩🇪 #Anis_Maaouia
