An interesting read putting Young People at the centre of food social and climate justice. "More than half the world’s population are under the age of 30. As it currently stands, these young people are at risk of inheriting a planet that will be over four degrees warmer. This will threaten the availability and nutritional quality of what they eat, the air they breathe and the communities they live in. #AllSystemsConnect2023 was one of my main highlights for 2023. By bringing stakeholders from multiple sectors, the symposium forced all of us to see the big picture, identify incentives for breaking barriers and interrogate some of the most entrenched thoughts and approaches. Being involved in most of the political sessions, it was clear that all our agendas must converge in the minds of the political leaders.
