From single-parent to multi-generational families, two-household families, and chosen families, each unit plays a unique and invaluable role in society. By embracing diversity and supporting families in all their forms, we can build a more equitable and compassionate world for future generations. Check out the new programming from SolidairtyIs Building Movement Project! Lots of ways to engage in both public and in depth ways. More in the post below from UyenThi T.!
Excited to share this incredible slate of programming at Building Movement Project and Solidarity Is for 2024. I'll be supporting these programs alongside my brilliant colleagues Adaku Utah and Deepa Iyer - let us know if we can see you there, and tag a colleague who might be interested! ✨ ✨ ✨ In an age of increasing polarization and division, how can we build bridges across lines of difference and strengthen solidarity? What strategies do we need to sustain connections and build power across the growing chasms of ideology, experience, power, and privilege? More people than ever are engaged in social change. We can sustain this momentum for the long run. Join us for this year’s Solidarity Is programs to sharpen analysis and strategy, deepen our connections, and practice skills that can help us continue the critical work of advancing justice and liberation. Solidarity is the throughline to move from equity to justice, from diversity to accountability, from silos to interdependence, from symbolism to systemic change. We believe solidarity builds power. Today, we observe the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, or Orange Shirt Day, honouring the survivors and victims of the residential school system while acknowledging its lasting impact on Indigenous communities across Canada. This day serves as a powerful reminder of the injustices faced by Indigenous children and families. It offers us a chance to reflect on our shared history and engage in meaningful conversations about reconciliation. At Randstad, we encourage everyone to participate in educational initiatives and explore ways to contribute to a more inclusive society. Let’s commit to fostering understanding and respect as we work together to create a future where everyone can thrive. Together, we grow through learning and action.
